Fun! Our expert trainers will teach you the ins & outs of boating safety via our boat licence & PWC licence session. A short break is provided.

Once you’ve passed the exam, you will receive a signed and stamped licence qualification from our trainers. Take this to Service NSW (the motor reg) with your completed logbook (boat licence only) for the immediate issuing of your boat and/or PWC licence. This can be done anytime within 12 months from the course.

**No testing will be required at ServiceNSW**

Types of vessels

The NSW general boat licence permits people aged 12 years and over to operate a boat for recreational purposes on NSW waters, at a speed of 10 knots (18.5 Kilometres per hour) or more.

The PWC licence allows you to operate a Personal Watercraft at any speed. It is an upgrade on the NSW boat licence and is easily covered at the same course.

Neither licence can be used for the operation of a commercial vessel or for commercial purposes.
